Fosters are a crucial part of our work and we wouldn't be able to help at risk dogs from a life of torment or euthanasia with out them. Fosters provide animals with a safe and loving environment and gives the animals real life experience making the transition from foster to forever home, anything less than seamless. Being a foster parent is no easy feat but the emotional rewards and fulfillment for your soul we believe is well worth it. If you live a life of honesty, integrity and trust and would like to become a HIT Living Foster Fur Mom, Dad or family, please fill out the “adoption” application and list “foster” in the dogs name and someone will get back to you in 48 hours. Although we might not have an animal (cat, dog, kitten or puppy) immediately needing foster, we will keep your information close by when the time arises.
ABOUT FOSTERING - Since we don’t have a rescue facility, fosters will remain in their foster’s care until adopted out to their furever family. The HIT Living Foundation covers the cost of any medical needs, food and any supplies the animal needs unless the foster family offers to pick up the tab, which is always appreciated. We ask our fosters to be available for vet visits, meet and greets and adoption events. We do understand schedules get busy and will do our best to have someone from our team available if our foster is unable to accommodate for whichever occasion.
Into the new year, along with rescuing at risk dogs in SoCal, The HIT Living Foundation will be working with rescues in both the Bahamas and Quintana Roo/Tulum Mexico and will need Southern California based fosters until we find these international pups their furever families. If you’re interested in fostering, please fill out the “adoption” application and put “foster” in the dogs name.
