Jack was on death’s door step at Lancaster Shelter. Having been at the shelter for over a month hidden away in medical, did a shelter volunteer finally realize Jack had been red listed and wasn’t even visible to the public nor was his photo or information available online. Pulling Jack we knew he had oral masses protruding from both sides of his mouth. Jack was owner surrendered with maggot clusters on his masses and over his face. After biopsying his protruding oral masses, we came to find out Jack had stage 4, malignant melanoma cancer. He lived out his days with his incredible foster Mom, listened to smooth jazz and enjoyed his evening strolls the most. You are missed Jack, but most importantly, you were loved.
